Since its establishment on November 13, 1995, the Field Epidemiology Training Program Alumni Foundation, Inc. (FETPAFI) has been a pillar of excellence in advancing the science of epidemiology and supporting public health in the Philippines. As a non-stock, non-profit organization, FETPAFI has grown into a trusted leader in implementing public health initiatives and managing grants across diverse settings.
A Legacy of Excellence
Over three decades, FETPAFI has trained more than 120 Filipino field epidemiologists who now serve at national and regional offices of the Department of Health (DOH), local government units (LGUs), and various international and local organizations. Many foundation members are among the nation’s top epidemiologists and key advocates for the advancement of public health sciences.
